Answered

I have a 4.0 from a competitive public school. I have completed 6 AP courses with test scores of 5 (4 tests) and 4 (2 tests). I am presently in 6 AP courses. I want to double major in Art History and Political Science.

Chances are, 1420 might slightly undermine your college application. A 4.0 GPA unweighted is already a great baseline in your application, placing you in the top 25th percentile of Swarthmore applicants. Though, a 1420 is considered below the 25th percentile of applicants and may shape the admission officers' perspective relative to the rest of the applicant pool. Overall, Swarthmore does a holistic review, so it's important to prioritize teacher recommendations, college essays, and your impacts.
