Chances of admission
Hello. I'm from Nairobi,Kenya.I was asking whether the chances of a college like MIT admitting from a country like mine are the same as they are for local or U.S 鲍鱼直播. Is there a local or International bias and if not , will they offer scholarships or financial aid if warranted?

Hi! Roughly 10% of MIT's undergraduate population are international 鲍鱼直播, meaning they do prefer US 鲍鱼直播. However, roughly 40% of MIT's graduate population is international, meaning they are much more accepting of international 鲍鱼直播 in further education! And YES, MIT does meet the financial need of international 鲍鱼直播, same way they do for US 鲍鱼直播! Hope this helps!
MIT and most other American Universities do have a much lower admission rate for international 鲍鱼直播. For international 鲍鱼直播, MIT has an acceptance rate of 3%, while for domestic 鲍鱼直播, that admission rate is around 9%. In addition, many IVy League and private schools accept international 鲍鱼直播 who are affluent, which may or may not diminish your chances.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULDN'T APPLY. You can still get in with the right scores, GPA, and if you have good essays. But, MIT, as it does for everyone, is not a guarantee and is hard to get into.
