Hello. I:

- come from an upper class family (gross income of approximately between 200,000-300,000 (could be slightly more or less))

- am biracial (white and brown (Indian))

- am a female identifying as queer and transmasculine

- will most likely be paying for college on my own, especially if I go to a private university

- have no diagnosed physical nor mental disabilities

I am a ninth grader, and I have been looking to get into an Ivy League. However, I need to figure out a way to obtain financial aid. Unfortunately, from the research I have done, it seems that Ivy Leagues work primarily on need-based aid. However, my parents are unwilling to pay for anything outside of Virginia colleges (see GMU, JMU, potentially UVA, etc.). As of August 2028, I will be 18 and a legal adult.

If anyone has any recommendations on how to get financial aid in this case, any job/project recommendations I could get paid for in order to save up for college admission fees/tuition, or even any advice on how to get into an Ivy League in the first place, that would be greatly appreciated.
