I'm a junior in highschool also what are some things I need to say about myself when applying??
Thank you!!!
I'm also a junior, and some things I think are good for applications is being yourself, making your interests, field of study, and other relevant information present; depending on if you're applying with or without scores, including them may help (although i'm not sure if this goes on a application). then if you're asked a prompt, answer it honestly, not what is said will get you into a university of choice. I use NICHE and its a good site, if possible try to get your transcript, my school uses XELLO personally. just make sure to speak with your counselors and other staff who may be able to assist.
I use Bold, Bold is pretty cool because it has all kinds of scholarships for all kinds of different things, there's a essay for everyone there, for both non-essay and essay scholarships. The website is also pretty and very easy to navigate. Good luck! :)
I am in the same situation right now, the best website i've found is NICHE
I use Xello, Bold, and Niche! I would also check with your college counselor, guidance counselor, and English teacher(s) because they have helped me a lot of scholarships.
How can we get to write the SAT Exams
I recommend trying sites like Fastweb, Scholarship.com and Cappex. They have a large selection of scholarships for different categories of 鲍鱼直播. You should also pay attention to local scholarships from universities and organisations. This will increase your chances of success.
Talk about your passions and why you deserve it
Just tell them reasons why you would be a good candidate for the scholarship including activities, awards, GPA, etc. Many scholarships like knowing who they are dealing with for the scholarships they give out to people.
I have to find scholarships every month for CSF at my school, and scholarship 360, bold, and BigFuture are my favorites. With 360 and Bold, you can find a wide range of scholarships ranging from easy and quick ones to harder and more rewarding ones. For example, I've found some fun and easy ones where you have to write about a zombie apocalypse, take surveys, pick up trash, etc. As for BigFuture, there's a lot of personalization. You can filter scholarships based on what you're looking for in one (merit, financial, essay/no-essay, etc.), heart ones you like, and there's scholarships related to specific background like race/ethnicity if you feel like you could write strongly about that. On top of that there's also the free, no-essay monthly scholarships where you can be entered to win $5,000 or $40,000 just by using their resources like taking their college or career quiz (which helps you, too).
Here's the link to BigFuture (I'm pretty sure it's just your college board account): share.bigfuture.org/739h2W
Here's scholarship 360: scholarships360.org/
Here's bold (they even email you new scholarships you might like): bold.org/
I myself use fastweb. It has all of the scholarships from everywhere on the website
fastweb.com/
I've used going merry, uncf, pef, and niche :)) I think pef might be exclusive to my state but they're all still good!
To keep this community safe and supportive:
Just a warning, I've heard Bold can sometimes be a scam. I typically check out my school since they usually have resources and what I can apply to. Coca Cola Scholarship is a big one if you want to apply (Around August I think), US Department of Labor, Appily, College Board, FASTWEB, Going Merry, and Scholorships.org are also ones you can check out!
